What is the recruitment process?

We have a rigorous process for hiring our Young Talent, simply because we really want it to be a good fit for both the Company and the employee. Normally we have at least two rounds of interviews, as well as case studies.

How long is the Graduate Programme?
  • Our Graduate Programme spans over two years, providing you with both functional and cross-functional exposure and development opportunities.
  • Our Graduates are considered integral members of the team from day one. You can anticipate a steep learning curve along with an engaging and challenging role within the company throughout the programme.
When does the Graduate Programme start?

We have a common start date for Graduates in August every year, with a common orientation plan for all graduates.

What are the possible locations I could be placed in?

We typically recruit Graduates in our main offices – Singapore, Oslo, and Aberdeen. The initial global orientation includes time in all three locations.Open positions will be advertised on our Career Site.

What kind of mentoring and supervision can I expect during the Graduate Programme?

You’ll be supported by:

  • A mentor for career and personal development guidance
  • A buddy to help with onboarding and informal support
  • Functional managers who assign meaningful tasks and evaluate performance
  • The programme owner who oversees your overall development and exposure
What happens when I have completed the programme?

At BW Offshore, we begin conversations about career paths early in the Graduate Programme. We view young talent as a vital part of workforce renewal and are committed to developing future leaders and technical experts from within. Upon completing the programme, you will continue in a permanent role that matches your strengths and aspirations, with continued support for growth and advancement.

What kind of projects will I work on?

You will work on real projects that contribute to BW Offshore’s operations and strategy. These include technical assignments on ongoing FEEDs and projects, cross-functional initiatives, assignment to support an asset in operation, and a Capstone Project with your cohort.
