How do I apply for a job at BW Offshore?
All vacancies are published here. Apply via the job advert and submit the requested documents through the portal. We recommend tailoring your CV to the role and highlighting relevant experience.

BW Offshore never asks applicants to pay a fee. If you’re asked for payment or financial details, treat it as a potential recruitment scam. Please note that LinkedIn and Instagram are the only social media platform that BW Offshore uses for recruitment.
Do you accept open applications?
We do not accept open applications. All available positions are advertised on our Career site, and applications must be submitted through the platform. Please avoid applying for multiple roles unless you are qualified for more than one position.
How does BW Offshore’s recruitment process work?
Once you submit your application, the following steps will normally take place:

Confirmation: You will receive an automated email from the BW Offshore Recruitment Team confirming we have received your application.

Review: After the application deadline, a recruiter will review your application.

Interview: Selected candidates are invited to interview. Depending on the role, there may be one or more interview rounds and relevant assessments.

Decision: The successful candidate will receive an offer, and other candidates will be informed of the outcome.

What is the recruitment process?

We have a rigorous process for hiring our Young Talent, simply because we really want it to be a good fit for both the Company and the employee. Normally we have at least two rounds of interviews, as well as case studies.

How long is the Graduate Programme?
  • Our Graduate Programme spans over two years, providing you with both functional and cross-functional exposure and development opportunities.
  • Our Graduates are considered integral members of the team from day one. You can anticipate a steep learning curve along with an engaging and challenging role within the company throughout the programme.
When does the Graduate Programme start?

We have a common start date for Graduates in August every year, with a common orientation plan for all graduates.

What are the possible locations I could be placed in?

We typically recruit Graduates in our main offices – Singapore, Oslo, and Aberdeen. The initial global orientation includes time in all three locations.Open positions will be advertised on our Career Site.

What kind of mentoring and supervision can I expect during the Graduate Programme?

You’ll be supported by:

  • A mentor for career and personal development guidance
  • A buddy to help with onboarding and informal support

What happens when I have completed the programme?

At BW Offshore, we begin conversations about career paths early in the Graduate Programme. We view young talent as a vital part of workforce renewal and are committed to developing future leaders and technical experts from within. Upon completing the programme, you will continue in a permanent role that matches your strengths and aspirations, with continued support for growth and advancement.

What kind of projects will I work on?

You will work on real projects that contribute to BW Offshore’s operations and strategy. These include technical assignments on ongoing FEEDs and projects, cross-functional initiatives, assignment to support an asset in operation, and a Capstone Project with your cohort.

How does BW Offshore support diversity and inclusion?

Summer Internship FAQs
What is the recruitment process?

The recruitment for our Summer Internship Programme is a coordinated process, normally conducted in October or November the year before the actual internship. Advertisements are posted on the BW Offshore website, and all applications must be submitted via the formal channels.

When does the Summer Internship start and finish?

The Global Summer Internship runs from mid- to end-June until August or September, depending on which requirements the students have at their universities.

What are the possible locations I could be placed in during a Summer Internship?

Summer Interns are typically hired locally in their home country (provided the Company has an office there). However, we aim to make the Summer Internship a global programme, so you can expect to spend time in at least two different locations during the summer.

What does a normal day look like?

80% of your day will be spent with your team, who are engaging full time employees working on real projects. You will be given tasks to support them, and have real deliverables to project management.

20% of your day should be spent on a Common Task with other Summer Interns. This enables you to set up a project of your own, and really dig into the challenges and opportunities this leads to.

What kind of mentoring and supervision can I expect during the internship?

Each Summer Intern will get a buddy and a mentor to support on both discipline/department specific questions, as well as ensuring you are integrated with the team, and that you meet the right people during your internship.

Normally each intern will have a mentor and buddy in each location they spend time over the summer.

What happens when I have completed the programme?

Our main goal for the Summer Internship is to offer the right people jobs as Graduates upon completion of their degrees. After the internship has ended, you will have a follow up conversation with us, and discuss your motivation to return as a Graduate, as well as how you can see your career as a Graduate with the Company.
