Appointment of new board member

(Bermuda, 1 June 2010): BW Offshore is pleased to announce that Mr. Maarten R. Scholten has been appointed a Director of BW Offshore Limited. Mr. Scholten has commenced his position in the Board of Directors on 31 May 2010.

Mr. Maarten R. Scholten (born 1954) is a Dutch citizen with a Master of Science in politics from University of Paris (Sorbonne) and a JD Commercial Law from University of Amsterdam.

Mr. Scholten brings with him almost 30 years of extensive legal and financial experience from the oil service industry, whereof 20 years in senior and executive positions at Schlumberger.

The Board of Directors of BW Offshore Limited has by this increased from six to seven Directors, and now consists of the following Directors;
