BW Offshore: Application to list Bergesen Worldwide Offshore on the Oslo Stock Exchange

Bergesen Worldwide Offshore (BW Offshore) formally applied for listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE) 26 April 2006. Through a USD 300 million primary issue, completed this week, the company has collected equity finan-cing ahead of the OSE listing. There will be approximately 40% free float following this private placement. The application is scheduled for approval by the OSE board on May 29. Subject to its approval the company is tentatively set to start trading on OSE on May 31. BW Offshore is planning to have its stocks traded on the OTC-system until the listing on the OSE.
